Silk orchid plants are almost maintenance free. You do not have to water them or give them fertilizer. Silk orchid plants will never wither.
Just keep them in a dry location and away from direct sunlight, because constant light will fade the colors.

For an ordinary day cleaning just use a feather duster to make them look new and fresh.
Every three to six months it is okay to expose the silk orchid plant to water and direct sunlight; and that is when you are cleaning them.
Spray the silk orchid plant thoroughly with water. Then shake it to get the most of water off. Finally dry it in the sun for a couple of hours.
